I was born in the gorgeous mountain town of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. I spent the first half of my childhood on the western side of the mountains and in my teens we called the eastern side our home. I’ve seen every part of Colorado and I couldn’t love it more! However, when I met my husband, we fled to the sunshine state for our destination wedding. It was the most fun I’d ever had! Vacationing with our closest family and friends, making memories and having a total blast. Now, I have the privilege of photographing all kinds of weddings and I'm so grateful.

Growing up in Colorado, I've always a love for the mountains. My parents were always taking us for drives in our spare time so the mountains were a daily part of my childhood. I guess you could say they bring me a certain kind of peace.
our rescue dogs
Sammy was our first rescue dog, stealing our hearts in 2007 with her floppy ears and sad eyes. 12 years later she still has her sad eyes but she knows where home is & who loves her. We soon decided she needed a pal, so we rescued Shay, who was a force to be reckoned with. We enjoyed ten years with her and we miss her dearly everyday.
Last fall we welcomed Gus into our home. He's 13 but you'd never know it. He has a tail wag like a pup, he knows when dinner time is & he certainly won't let you forget about it.
There are days (or sometimes weeks..) where there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to prepare three meals. But on the days where I'm organized and my menu is prepped, nothing makes me happier than cooking a delicious meal for my family.
When I was 20, I decided on a wim to jump on a plane and head to Europe. I had always wanted to go & I'm so glad I did. London was an experience to remember and Paris was even more beautiful than I ever dreamed.
Confession: banana & nutella crepes were a staple while in France.
While I'm in favor of the mountain views, the ocean is my second home. Give me a chair and a pair of good sunglasses, I'll sit on the beach all day. I might leave for a good margarita and some fish & chips, but I won't be gone for long.
HomeGoods is my Disneyworld.
No, really. There isn't a day where it hasn't brought me an insurmountable amount of happiness.
If you've never been, just go.
You can thank me later.
my wedding day
I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. Planning a wedding is so exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over!
My goal as your wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of your planning process easier- and more fun! By forming a relationship with each and every one of my couples, I am able to understand what they want and we work together to achieve their vision- and it all begins with the very first email.
Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my couples feel comfortable & relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images!
