I’m not even sure I have the right words to describe this unforgettable Crooked Willow Farms Wedding. Scott and Sydney’s special day was absolute perfection.

I met Scott and Sydney last fall for the first time when we met up for their engagement session in Castlewood Canyon State Park. Meeting their sweet pup, Gracie Jo, was a huge highlight of their engagement session. Miss Gracie also got to be part of their Crooked Willow Farms wedding festivities, too!

During their engagement session, it didn’t take long to figure out that Scott and Sydney were perfect for one another.

Throughout the wedding planning process, I was able to chat with Sydney about her wedding day quite often. I loved learning about her, her wedding style and her vision. The more we spoke, the more convinced I was that her wedding day was going to be elegant, romantic, and colorful.

Scott and Sydney chose The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms as THE spot to say their vows. If there was only one word to describe their venue, stunning would be it.

As soon as we arrived at the venue, we knew it was going to be a perfect day for a Crooked Willow Farms wedding.

The couple’s personal style throughout the day was modern and classic. Timeless, you could even say.

Sydney’s gown was lacy and romantic, with a cathedral veil that went on forever. It was delicate and feminine. Scott’s suit was a classic blue, paired with a gray-blue tie that truly was the perfect combination.

I have to say, their florals were jaw-droppingly beautiful- as they always are when Sander Ranch Flowers is designing them! The bouquets had a boho-inspired vibe with a ton of elegance thrown in. The textures were amazing- roses, dahlias, eucalyptus and king proteas. You really don’t need anything else when you have that flower combination in one bouquet. Floral beauty was everywhere you looked- from the wedding arbor, reception tables, bridesmaid bouquets, wine barrels, and of course the groomsmen’s boutonnieres.

Most importantly, the most impactful part of the day (at least for me and I’m certain for Scott and Sydney!) was their first look. I don’t want to put all of the attention on Scott because I know he’s not a fan, but watching his reaction as he turned around to see Sydney was a moment I’ll never forget. His tears were so incredibly sweet. I’m not sure there is anything more precious than a groom shedding a tear over his bride… am I right? 😍

Soon after their first look, Sydney was making her way down the aisle. Her father gave her away to her husband-to-be and as a parent myself, that has to be such an emotional moment for a father. But Mike knows Scott is one amazing guy and Sydney is in good hands.

After some tears, some laughs, and some party-crashing ducks, Scott and Sydney were officially announced as husband and wife! As they made their way back down the aisle, they were accompanied by their sweet sidekick, Gracie Jo, the cutest Bernese you’ve ever seen. She was definitely the star of the show at this point and for good reason. She’s basically the cutest thing since baby thigh rolls. 🤣

To sum it up, the rest of the day was a whirlwind. There was laughter, a ton of hugs, and even Shaggy the donkey- Crooked Willow’s burro bar! He’s pretty darn adorable. Good food, cold drinks, and a lot of dancing kicked the night off right and it was a party of the century after that.

Even though ears are still recovering from Cardi B’s jams, it was worth it, friends. Paul at Elite Entertainment knows how to get the people moving!

Watching Sydney and Scott dance the night away with their favorite people was just plain awesome. I know, I say this alot, but it was an honor to witness this special day.Getting to know their family and friends was the highlight of the day for us and we were just so darn excited to be a part of the celebrations.

Congratulations, Scott and Sydney! You deserve all the best. 🖤

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT STACY

When my husband, Jeff, and I were planning our wedding, we hired a photographer whose work was beautiful. Fast forward a few months, she ghosted us. Took our money and vanished. Two months before our wedding, I'm panicking, trying to find another photographer who was available on our very popular date- 10/10/10, and whose work didn't completely suck. I was laughed at over the phone by one photographer, whose name I will withhold but will FOREVER remember. He obviously thought my desperation was amusing, but I couldn't see the humor through my enormous tears.

After having already spent our entire photography budget, I was forced to hire the only person who was left available, and for fairly cheap. He definitely over-promised + under-delivered. It was a sad experience, one I never want you to have to go through, which is why I am so passionate about ensuring my couples have the MOST amazing wedding photography experience humanly possible, with me.

If you are looking for a photographer who values YOU and your entire wedding photography experience, I'm your girl.
I will be by your side, making sure you feel totally comfy + content while you're in front of my lens. I promise your wedding day photos will be timeless, beautiful, and everything you've dreamed of.

I honestly can't wait to meet you, so get in touch and let's do this!

If you have found your way to me, it's probably because you've been searching for the right photographer, but none of the others have felt like 'the one'. I get it. I've been there, done that.
